1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces1 tbsp avocado oil1 tsp garlic powder½ tsp onion powder½ tsp smoked paprikaSalt and black pepper, to taste

Vegetables

1 red bell pepper, sliced1 yellow bell pepper, sliced1 small zucchini, sliced1 small red onion, sliced1 tbsp avocado oilSalt and black pepper, to taste

Honey Garlic Sauce

⅓ cup honey¼ cup soy sauce4 cloves fresh garlic, minced1 tbsp brown sugar1 tbsp rice vinegar1 tsp sesame oil½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional

For Finishing

2 green onions, slicedSesame seeds, optional

👨‍🍳 Directions

1. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Whisk until everything is well combined and set aside.

2. Preheat the Blackstone

Preheat your Blackstone Griddle to medium-high heat.
Create two cooking zones so you have plenty of room for both the chicken and vegetables.
Add a light coating of avocado oil.

3. Season the Chicken

Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Toss until every piece is evenly coated.

4. Cook the Chicken

Place the chicken onto the hot griddle and spread it into an even layer.
Let it cook without constantly moving it around so those pieces can develop some beautiful color.
Cook for approximately 6–8 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

5. Griddle the Vegetables

On the other side of the Blackstone, add the peppers, zucchini, and red onion.
Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
Cook for approximately 5–7 minutes, tossing occasionally.
You want the vegetables tender with some caramelized edges while still having a little bite.

6. Bring Everything Together

Combine the chicken and vegetables in the center of the griddle.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over everything.
Now listen to that sizzle. 🔥
Toss everything together continuously for approximately 1–2 minutes as the sauce bubbles, reduces, and begins coating the chicken and vegetables.

7. Finish & Serve

Once everything is beautifully glazed, remove it from the Blackstone.
Finish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve it by itself or over steamed white rice for a complete meal.

🌟 Bright Spots Pro Tip

Don't add the honey garlic sauce too early!
There's plenty of sugar in both the honey and brown sugar, which means it can burn quickly on a hot Blackstone.
Cook your chicken and vegetables first. Then bring everything together and add the sauce during the final couple of minutes.
You'll get that sticky, glossy glaze without leaving a layer of burnt sugar behind on your griddle.

One of my favorite things about cooking on the Blackstone is that dinner doesn’t always need to be complicated.

Protein.

Vegetables.

A good sauce.

Get it on the griddle.

That’s exactly what we’re doing with this Blackstone Honey Garlic Chicken and Vegetables.

The chicken gets seasoned simply and cooked over a hot griddle until those little bite-sized pieces develop some beautiful caramelized edges.

On the other side, we’ve got peppers, zucchini, and red onion doing the same thing.

But the real star of this cook comes at the end.

That honey garlic sauce.

Sweet honey, salty soy sauce, fresh garlic, a little brown sugar, rice vinegar, and just enough heat from red pepper flakes to keep things interesting.

Once the chicken and vegetables are cooked, everything comes together in the middle of the Blackstone and gets covered in that sauce.

And that’s when things get good.

The sauce hits the hot griddle and immediately starts bubbling and reducing, creating this sticky glaze that works its way around every piece of chicken and vegetable.

You’ve got sweet.

You’ve got savory.

You’ve got garlic.

You’ve got a little heat.

And you’ve got those slightly charred edges that you just aren’t going to get cooking everything in a regular pan.

Serve it straight off the griddle or throw it over a pile of white rice and let that rice soak up whatever sauce is left.

Either way, you’ve got an easy Blackstone dinner that doesn’t require a giant ingredient list or hours in the kitchen.

And if you’ve got vegetables sitting in the refrigerator that need to get used?

Throw them in.

That’s the beauty of this one.

Make it yours.

Until the next one… we’ll see ya.
